Kitchen and Bath Design Intern

We are currently seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Kitchen and Bath Design Intern. This internship opportunity provides hands-on experience in the field of kitchen and bath design, allowing you to develop and refine your skills while working closely with industry professionals. Responsibilities:

• Assist senior designers in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen and bath designs for our clients.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop initial concepts, mood boards, and material selections.
• Conduct research on the latest design trends, products, and materials relevant to kitchen and bath design.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Assist in the coordination of projects, including communicating with suppliers, contractors, and clients.
• Attend client meetings and contribute to design presentations.
• Assist with showroom maintenance and organization.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field.
• Strong passion for kitchen and bath design, with a keen interest in staying up to date with industry trends and innovations.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Prior experience or coursework in kitchen and bath design is preferred but not required.

• Proficiency in using CAD software and other design tools to create technical drawings and presentations.

• Design sales training in following up on leads and orders and tracking and organizing library samples.
• Experience collaborating with clients, suppliers, and contractors to deliver successful design solutions.
• Insight into the operations of a design firm and the day-to-day responsibilities of a kitchen and bath designer.
